A fair refund process based on the stage of your project.

For most Ideahits projects, 60% of the agreed total is paid upfront to reserve the project and begin work. The remaining 40% is due after you approve the final design and before source files, production files, and ownership deliverables are released.

Some small tasks, subscriptions, add-ons, or specially agreed projects may use a different payment schedule. The checkout or written quote will show the applicable structure before you pay.

• The 60% payment is a project deposit, not an automatic penalty.
• The final 40% is not charged until the approved-design stage.
• The project is paid in full only after both required payments have cleared.

If you cancel before creative work begins, we will normally refund the amount paid to the original payment method.

Tell us as soon as possible so we can stop scheduling, assignment, research, or production activity connected with the order.

If research, concepts, layouts, artwork, revisions, project management, or other agreed work has started, we will review what has been completed when the cancellation request is received.

Where permitted by law, a refund may be reduced by a reasonable amount that reflects work already supplied and direct project costs already incurred. We will explain any deduction rather than treating every deposit as automatically non-refundable.

• Unused parts of the paid amount remain eligible for review.
• Third-party costs specifically approved for your project may be included in the review.
• Cancelled or refunded concepts remain Ideahits property and cannot be used unless separately agreed in writing.

Once you approve the final design, discretionary refunds for a change of mind are normally unavailable because the agreed creative service has been completed.

Source files, production files, and ownership deliverables are released after final payment. Approval does not remove any legal remedy that applies if a service is materially faulty or not supplied as agreed.

Contact us promptly and explain the specific issue, including the agreed deliverable or instruction you believe has not been met. We will review the brief, quote, messages, revision history, approvals, and delivered files.

Where appropriate, we may correct or re-perform the affected work. If that is not possible within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience, another remedy or price reduction may apply in line with the contract and applicable law.

UK consumers who buy a service online will often have a 14-day cancellation period. If you expressly ask us to begin the service during that period and then cancel before it is complete, you may be required to pay a reasonable amount proportionate to the service already supplied.

The right to cancel can end once a service has been fully performed where the legal requirements for starting early and acknowledging that loss of the cancellation right have been met. Business purchases and customers in other countries may have different rights.

Nothing in this policy excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

We will acknowledge the request, review the project record, and explain the decision and calculation. An approved refund is sent to the original payment method; the time it takes to appear depends on the payment provider and your bank.
